I met myself.

It’s been a long time, Hello Cozy. Too long. Since last I wrote, it has been an amazing journey full of joy, bliss, confidence; doubt, fear, and fatigue. But mostly, joy.

Someone asked me what it was that instigated a change in my path; in my life — what was it that lead me to take a step onto the path of yoga; the turn toward inner inquiry and sharing my bliss.

My answer: “I met myself, and things changed.”

I don’t even know where to begin. So for now, let me dip my pinky toe into the water by saying hello and carrying on with a few photos from months past.

Gratuitous Gratitude for Grey

photo 1

“Who would believe such pleasure from a wee ball o’ fur?”
– Irish Saying

This is my cat, Grey. She’s pretty fuzzy and pretty wonderful. She constantly brings me joy and a lightness of spirit, for which I am grateful. I constantly bring her meat and scritches, for which I believe she is grateful. Though, I try not to put expectation on such things. In some ways, our relationship is pretty ideal. We are individuals doing our things in the world, yet when we come together, there is much appreciation felt in the heart and nuzzling to be had in the flesh.

So, here is some gratuitous gratitude for you, Grey. If only you could read.
